Mobile Bingo – Next Big Thing

Last month saw the 5th Annual Mobile Gambling Summit for Europe take place at the Regent Park Marriot Hotel in London. High up on the agenda for discussion was Mobile Bingo and the outcome seems a positive one from the mobile gaming industry. In a time when TV seems unsure of what to do with bingo on the box it looks like the mobile market is extremely welcoming and watch out for more of the big bingo sites getting in on the act in 2009. The other fruitful side to mobile bingo is that it introduces the game to a whole new generation who are more tech savvy and see their mobile phones as necessary extensions in their day-to-day movements.

The general consensus of the 5th Annual Mobile Gambling Summit was that the estimated 100 million pounds in mobile bets for 2008 will be surpassed in 2009 as the mobile gambling era continues to grow.
